The Art of the Sing & Fling
Step into the glamorous world of burlesque with the one and only Miss Whiskey Twist! Known as the "Showgirl... Host... Pin up and all-round pain in the arse," Whiskey brings a unique blend of silliness and glamour to the stage. With 17 years of global performance experience, she has dazzled audiences and worked alongside burlesque icons.
Whiskey is a professionally trained actress, vocalist, public speaking coach and qualified teacher. She uses her skills and expertise to build confidence, trust and fun within yourself. Finding character and musical flair and understanding to your pieces.
What is the Sing n Fling?
The Sing n Fling has been a beloved element of burlesque, combining the power of your voice with the art of performance.
Whiskey Twist will showcase her award-winning act and guide you in developing your own unique style.
What You'll Learn:
- How to use and explore the emotions of music
- Singing and vocal techniques
- Commanding the stage and embracing musicality
- How to add musicality, lip synch, and connection with your audience to your repertoire
Note: Singing is not essential for this workshop. We will explore various ways to incorporate musical elements into your performance.
